Plan A Youth Birthday Party

Our private basketball suites make the perfect party venue for teen and youth birthday parties. All ages are welcome! Order food and desserts from our menu and let the kids play games and shoot hoops. The basketball suites can accommodate up to 15 guests. We offer 50-minute sessions and 90-minute sessions.

NOTE: Youth birthday parties will be scheduled and completed prior to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Option 1: Book Your Own Suite

Our private basketball suites make the perfect venue for youth birthday parties. Play games and shoot hoops with friends and family in a private suite to celebrate your birthday in style.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED 
    • You can order food and desserts from our menu.
    • Yes that means NO outside cakes or cupcakes (we have amazing dessert options!)
  • Guests: Private suites can accommodate up to 15 guests.
  • Time Limit: 50-minute sessions.
  • Cost: $15/person. Price capped at $75/hr for a maximum of 15 guests.
  • Reservation Includes: Private suite, TV, speaker, Dr. Dish Facility Machine, basketballs, and one hoop.
    • Note: Dr. Dish Machine only works on 10ft. hoops. Lower to 8ft without rebounding machine.
  • Decor: Any decorations must be removed within the allotted reservation time.

No need to call, the reservation can be completed online!

Option 2: Catered Birthday Parties

Let The Basketball Social House take care of your party details! Our 90-minute basketball suite reservations are perfect for surprise youth birthday parties, when you need a longer duration, or when you’d like a big spread of amazing eats! We do the setup and breakdown for you. Food will be set up buffet style and includes soft drinks.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED 
    • You can order food and desserts from our menu.
    • NO outside cakes or cupcakes (we have amazing dessert options!)
  • Guests: Private suites can accommodate up to 15 guests.
  • Time Limit: 90-minute sessions
  • Cost: Price capped at $150/hr for a maximum of 15 guests.
  • Reservation Includes: Private suite, TV, speaker, Dr. Dish Facility Machine, basketballs, and one hoop.
    • Note: Dr. Dish Machine only works on 10ft. hoops. Lower to 8ft without rebounding machine.
  • Decor: Any decorations must be removed within the allotted reservation time.

Option 3: The Ultimate Basketball Birthday Party Venue

If you want to host the ultimate basketball event, reserve our custom-designed 3×3 arena. The 3×3 arena can be reserved for 90 minutes and includes reserved tables in our main seating area. We recommend structuring your event with 45 minutes of play, a break to eat, and then finishing up with another short 3×3 session or a couple of games of group knockout. One of our facilitators can be booked to help run your 3×3 games. When you choose to reserve the 3×3 arena, we can help customize any youth birthday parties!

  • ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED 
    • You can order food and desserts from our menu.
    • NO outside cakes or cupcakes (we have amazing dessert options!)
  • Guests: The 3×3 arena can accommodate 15-50 guests. Guest limits are dependent on the activities needed.
  • Time Limit: 90-minute sessions.
  • Cost: $250 plus $18/person for food and beverage  |  Optional facilitator = $75
  • Reservation Includes: 3×3 arena, 2 hoops, speaker, bleachers, basketballs
  • Decor: Any decorations must be removed within the allotted reservation time.

Frequently Asked Questions

No outside food or drink is allowed. With prior notice and payment of a $60 setup/cleaning fee, cakes or cupcakes can be brought in for parties. No ice cream or popsicles are allowed. Cake and cupcakes must be confined to the suites and may not be eaten on the courts or in common areas. We will provide disposable plates, forks, and napkins. 

Our restaurant offers many delicious desserts that make perfect party fare. We have six flavors of ice cream, milkshakes,  a warm brownie skillet, flourless chocolate torte, cheesecake, and a warm cookie skillet.

Youth birthday parties will be scheduled and completed prior to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Yes! The Basketball Social House welcomes all ages. 

Yes! The Wall of Hoops, Foosball, and Board Games are free to the public… first come, first serve. There is NO entrance fee to the Basketball Social House. You may come and use the above games for free! The main basketball courts are only free to use during designated times. Please check our weekly calendar.

Our basketball spaces are only open for free shooting at specific times, which are listed on our website. You can reserve private basketball suites for events or personal training.

We only reserve tables if a reservation is made for the  3×3 Arena and large event rentals.

Men’s and women’s basketballs are provided in each space.

You bet! Our full restaurant & drinkery include gluten-free and vegan options.

Full-court rentals are limited.  If you are interested, please contact us to discuss the event and if there is availability.

There is no membership fee to enjoy our restaurant, bar, Wall of Hoops game area. Reservations for the basketball suites are highly encouraged on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as they fill up fast. 

We strongly encourage reserving a suite on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They fill up fast! However, online reservations are not required. (But you may be waiting if it’s busy!)

The Basketball Social House has a capacity of 561 guests. 

The Basketball Social House bar and restaurant are open Tuesday through Sunday. Sometimes the restaurant and bar are open on Mondays for special occasions. The basketball training courts are open Monday – Sunday for training. Check our weekly schedule for up-to-date opening times.

The Basketball Social House welcomes all ages. We are always family-friendly, but children are not allowed at the bar top tables after 6:00 p.m.

Matt Barnett

Co-Founder

Matt Barnett is the co-founder of The Basketball Social House in Centennial, Colorado.

Matt graduated from Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colorado, where he earned three letters in basketball and two in baseball. He was a two-time all-state selection in basketball and an all-conference baseball player. He signed his National letter of Intent to attend Colorado State University after receiving multiple offers to many Division I schools.

At Colorado State, Matt was a four-year starter under Coach Stew Morrill and played his way into the record books where he is third all-time in rebounds and fourth all-time is assists. He earned his BA from Colorado State University in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Social Sciences.

After college, Matt played professionally in Auckland, New Zealand for one season where he averaged twenty points and ten rebounds a game. Upon returning to Colorado, Matt served as Recreation Coordinator for the City of Greenwood Village, and he started his own business, Hoops4You LLC, training professional, college, and youth basketball players.

In 2012, Matt started Elevation Flyers, one of the longest-standing and most respected competitive youth basketball clubs in Colorado. Matt was also the Director of Basketball for the Panorama Sports Institute from 2016-2020 under the direction of former NBA strength and conditioning coach Steve Hess and NBA Finals MVP Chauncey Billups.

Jimmy Bemis is the co-founder of The Basketball Social House in Centennial, Colorado. Jimmy has over twenty years of experience in accounting, finance, and technology. He has worked for large firms such as Invesco, Oppenheimer, CH2MHill, and Brown Brothers Harriman where he oversaw various critical business aspects including but not limited to complex quantitative analysis, data, digital, SEC/Board reporting, and operational functions.

He has a proven track record of blending innovation and operational efficiency to create business success, most recently heading the financial and operational areas for a private equity firm that invests in and operates restaurant, entertainment, and hospitality businesses. His focus during this time has been to turnaround under-performing business concepts, establish and implement a franchising model, and create various viable and profitable exit strategies.

He holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver, an MS in Accounting from Regis University, and has completed his Doctorate in Accounting (all but dissertation) at Liberty University. Jimmy also graduated from Chatfield Senior High where he lettered in basketball, cross country, and track.

Performance Trainer Dylan Birdsell

Dylan Birdsell

Lead Skills & Performance Trainer

Originally from Willis, Texas, Dylan played 4 years of Texas 5A basketball at Willis where he lettered on varsity and was co-captain during his junior and senior years. Dylan went from being one of the last kids accepted to his junior high basketball teams to being one of only two athletes out of his high school class to be recruited to play at the next level.

Dylan started his coaching career with Point Guard College’s prestigious basketball camp that hosts 100+ camps every summer across the country. Dylan has coached over 40 camps with PGC and has worked with 1000+ basketball athletes from elementary, junior high, high school, college, and overseas professional players (male and female). Dylan also spent his undergraduate years volunteering and coaching with various junior high, high school, and UMHB’s Men’s Basketball programs.

While continuing his education through earning his MS in Exercise Physiology, Dylan gained knowledge and experience in the research field of exercise and sports science. Dylan was awarded the “Master of Science Exercise Physiology Outstanding Student of the Year Award” during his graduation in May 2021.

Dylan’s philosophy of training and life stems from what a person is committed to being. He prides himself in understanding the aspirations of his clients and becoming an asset to their commitment using his knowledge in Biomechanics, Physiology, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Weightlifting, and Pathology.
